To say the Mountain Bike community is thankful to Crash, Skid, and Boomer for keeping RHR going during the hard times hardly sums up the gratitude felt by those who love these trails. The ranch might not be here now if not for their stepping in at the crucial moment. It wasn't easy, and you couldn't ask for folks with more love for the MTB soul of RHR than these guys. There's pieces of them on the trails in the way of metal art, beautiful cedar signs, and the legendary "Rob Knockers," not to mention a few pieces of skin and more than a little sweat and blood. This isn't the last you've seen from these guys, Viva RHR!!

Welcome to the mountain biker's dream at Rocky Hill Ranch in the Lost Pines country of Bastrop County. A place where urbanites can escape the noise and stress of the city in a refreshing natural environment that has 30+ miles of off road riding on more than 1000 acres. It is guaranteed to challenge the novice, and please the most expert of mountain bike riders. Rocky Hill Ranch is located 40 miles east of Austin, 100 miles northeast of San Antonio, 110 miles west of Houston, and 240 miles south of Dallas, then 2 miles off Hwy 71 in the hills north of Smithville, TX (between Bastrop & La Grange).
